Batsi is a busy little beach town on the island Andros in Greece. Just a week ago, we spent the sunny day at another beach, but drove into Batsi for dinner.

Not brunch, but 'linner'! You know, the combination of lunch and dinner! Since O Kossis doesn't open until 4 p.m., having linner there before leaving for Athens on the 8 o'clock ferry was perfect.
I love taking photos. That's me above enjoying the gorgeous views from the top deck on a ferry to Andros island in Greece last Friday. When given the choice, I prefer to take a ferry at night. The most obvious reason is that it gives you more daytime hours to spend on the island(s) you're visiting, but for today's Throwback Thursday, here are MY three main reasons!
I first wrote about this island in my Where Oh Where Wednesday post, Guess Which Island in the Cyclades. Spoiler alert: CLICK and read it first before continuing with today's Spiritual Sunday!
Exactly four weeks ago today, in my post The Story of Me and Social Media Challenges, I told you about my third attempt at completing 30 blog posts in 30 successive days! I'm only one day away, so lots to celebrate for today's Celebration Saturday!
"We Go Here Every Time We Visit Athens." That's the title of my TripAdvisor review for George's Steak House in Glyfada, Greece. The review is from August 2012, but the photo above is from a return visit in September 2014!
April 2015. I'd been following various travel bloggers for a few months, and Mapping Megan posted on Facebook asking if anyone wanted their name written in the sand in California! I immediately responded, and the above photo is the result! You can view all of her Postcards from California on Facebook here.
When I received the photo on Facebook, my reply back was, "So cool! Thnk you Mapping Megan! I'll be writing your name in the sands of Greece in September!" Well, I'm leaving for Greece tomorrow! Would you like your name in the sands of Greece too? Time for another Where Oh Where Wednesday! I spied this fun mosaic wall at the Centraal train station for today's city in the Netherlands. How many images will it take for you to guess the city?
You're a tourist, a traveller, a university student, or a new expat to the Netherlands and you want to take advantage of the awesome mass transit system. The OV-Chipkaart is the way to go!
Utrecht. My current home. Blue sky. Sunny day. Let's hop on a train and spend a day having fun in the sun in the Netherlands. I have 7 places for you to explore!
