Yes, that's a yak. A Yak and Yeti that is. A great restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom. For today's Throwback Thursday, check out my post: Everything is Yummy at Animal Kingdom's Yak & Yeti.

For today's Throwback Thursday, I take you back to June 22, 2012. That's when I first met Neil on my kayaking Day Trip with Sea Kayaking Skopelos. You can read all about it in my Trip Advisor review: Absolutely Awesome! The photo above, however, is from my Sunset Trip yesterday, and though I've yet to write a new review, it will be another 5 star one!
Oh dear, oh dear, I'm short on time again today! Driving around Crete and taking a dip in the delectable blue seas of Elafonissi is diving into my blogging time. But enough about Crete, wrong letter of the alphabet! Today's Throwback Thursday takes us back in time to Disney!
Only 100 days until Christmas! That was the announcement in many posts and shares in my Facebook feed yesterday. It immediately brought to mind our wonderful Christmas in Greece in 2014, when we surprised my mother-in-law by arriving in Athens on Christmas Day, when she thought we were spending the holiday in Paris! The photo above was taken just 2 days later when we enjoyed an evening stroll through Syntagma Square and then along Ermou Street.
I love taking photos. That's me above enjoying the gorgeous views from the top deck on a ferry to Andros island in Greece last Friday. When given the choice, I prefer to take a ferry at night. The most obvious reason is that it gives you more daytime hours to spend on the island(s) you're visiting, but for today's Throwback Thursday, here are MY three main reasons!
April 2015. I'd been following various travel bloggers for a few months, and Mapping Megan posted on Facebook asking if anyone wanted their name written in the sand in California! I immediately responded, and the above photo is the result! You can view all of her Postcards from California on Facebook here.
When I received the photo on Facebook, my reply back was, "So cool! Thnk you Mapping Megan! I'll be writing your name in the sands of Greece in September!" Well, I'm leaving for Greece tomorrow! Would you like your name in the sands of Greece too?
When I returned to Baltimore, MD to spend Thanksgiving with my mother in 2010, I dragged my daughter along on a 'blast from the past' tour of my old home town. That's me in front of Govans Elementary, where I attended Kindergarten through 6th grade from 196_(double cough) to 197_(cough)! Today's Throwback Thursday is for everyone going 'back to school' this week.
I'm guilty as charged! I am not, and probably never will be, caught up with my scrapbooking! There, I've said it. Now, what am I going to do about it? Keep reading to find out in today's Throwback Thursday!
