Cyclades. You know--cycle, cyclist, cyclical--from the Greek word cyclo! (Love the dad in the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"!) Yes, the Cyclades are a group of islands in a relative circle in Greece, hence the sign in Greek (left) at a cafe on the island of.... No, I'm not going to tell you yet. Remember, it's a Where Oh Where Wednesday, and you have to guess first! You have more photos today than usual. I've been having a wonderful time sorting through old photos lately. (More about that in tomorrow's post though). For now, you have to try to figure out which island in the Cyclades that today's post is all about! Let's get started! |
I'm not going to make you walk down that little street on the island blindfolded though. I'm going to let you see a little light. I've been to several of the islands in the Cyclades. In alphabetical order, they are: Andros, Delos, Mykonos, Santorini, Syros, and Tinos. I've vacationed on today's island four different times, so the photos range from 2003-2014, and we're set to return again next month. Let's board the ferry boat and see if you can guess correctly. I'll reveal the answer at the end of the post. |
