Not Naxos. Not Alex/polis, which by the way is short for Alexandroupolis. I'm departing for Orlando, Florida today, and both my bags and I will be going though at least two x-ray machines!

What is quiet? Is it the lack of sounds? Or, is it only the sounds that soothe? Dictionary.com includes the definitions: tranquil, to make tranquil, and tranquility--depending on whether you are using the adjective, verb, or noun. On my last afternoon on Skopelos, I avoided a long queue of sunbeds, and went for the quiet of a natural recliner on the slip of a beach on the right side of the port.
3, 2, 1, jump! That's our friend Norm getting ready to jump off the rocky outcrop during our kayak tour in Milos, September 2015. When our guide demonstrated and then climbed back into his red kayak, only a handful of us shouted joyously, "Me," when he asked, "Who wants to try?" The girl crouching behind Norm got last minute jitters, and let Norm go first. She then jumped for joy a few minutes later!

Theopetra Cave. Less than 10 km from the town of Kastraki in Greece, where we stayed when visiting the stone pillars and monasteries of Meteora. A brochure that we received upon check-in stated that you must not miss this one-of-a-kind find! Though we didn't book a tour through Visit Meteora, I'm very grateful for their advice, as you'll soon see!
I admit, today's Where Oh Where Wednesday is a tough one. Of course, I love making these guessing games a little challenging, especially with the first few photos. Let's get started!
Time for another Where Oh Where Wednesday! I spied this fun mosaic wall at the Centraal train station for today's city in the Netherlands. How many images will it take for you to guess the city?
Pinocchio. If you know which country Geppetto carved him in, you’re one step closer to figuring out the answer to today’s WOWW--Where Oh Where Wednesday!
Molenspel. Dutch for Mill Game. Today, I visited a quaint village in the Netherlands, and this game was in a cute museum showing all kinds of odds and ends depicting life a century ago in the village. Now, I want you to try and guess which village! If you've never been to the Netherlands, or know nothing about the beautiful country, you can still play, and just enjoy the photos! So, let's get started with today's Where Oh Where Wednesday!
