Fresh zucchini at the neighborhood farmers' market in Greece. Flowers still attached, unlike in the USA! My husband and I have a variety of recipes for zucchini, but for today's Feast On It Friday, I'll be sharing my favorite--stuffed zucchini flowers!

A big sign. Every race that I've attempted has at least one. I told you yesterday that I love to run; we were on R in my Alphabet Challenge. This was a memorable race for me, because I ran the whole five miles. Just six months prior, I couldn't even run one! S is for Sign, but also for start, so let's start an alphabet of signs in today's Feast On It Friday!
White eggplant. These were quite eye-catching, when I first saw them at the neighborhood farmers' market (Laiki) in Palaio Faliro in Athens, Greece. We didn't buy these, but I will share with you some exceptional entrees made with eggplant in today's Feast On It Friday!
It's been 9 months. Nine months since I moved from the Netherlands back to the United States, unpacked 300 boxes, and started a new job teaching Kindergarten all in the span of one month! I hit the pause button for blogging; no new posts at all during the last 9 months. But, I'm back, and up for the challenge, the 30 Day Blogging Challenge, that is!
I was born and raised in Maryland, and absolutely adore steamed blue crabs and Maryland crab cakes. When my mother-in-law found live blue crabs for sale at her neighborhood seafood store in Palaio Faliro, Athens, Greece, we no longer had to visit the U.S. to get great crabs! For today's Feast On It Friday, I give you the recipes for steaming blue crabs and making crab cakes!
Not brunch, but 'linner'! You know, the combination of lunch and dinner! Since O Kossis doesn't open until 4 p.m., having linner there before leaving for Athens on the 8 o'clock ferry was perfect.
"We Go Here Every Time We Visit Athens." That's the title of my TripAdvisor review for George's Steak House in Glyfada, Greece. The review is from August 2012, but the photo above is from a return visit in September 2014!
Kos island, Greece. Summer 2012. Beautiful view of the Aegean sea from our room and balcony at the Kos Aktis Hotel. Tourism is Kos island's major industry, and the island did not disappoint. For today's Feast On It Friday, let's take a quick, up close look at Kos.
Dinner out with close relatives. Good food. Spectacular sunset. Wonderful evening at Balconi tou Aigaiou in June 2012. I wrote one of my first TripAdvisor posts for this restaurant, and hope to return again soon! For today's Feast On It Friday, I present the view that thrills!
