WiFi. What would I do without it? During my summer vacation in Greece, my mother-in-law's home had excellent WiFi. But for three days last week, we stayed at her sister's beach home, and I was unplugged the entire time--no Internet on the iPad, iPhone, Mac Book, or Nook! It was wonderful!
For today's Tech Tidbit Tuesday, I'm just going to wish for you excellent WiFi wherever you go, and whenever you want it. Whether among...
Windmills
Or...
Watermelons
Or...
Waves
Or...
Wine
When we visited Crete, we ordered a portable WiFi device--wow, pretty wacky idea! Hopefully they become more widespread enabling everyone to connect wherever they are!
Speaking of wireless, SmartPhones are wondrous inventions--mini computers, cameras, GPS devices, and more. Very witty!

While I wager that our dependence on the Internet is worrisome at times, the ability to connect via the web to people, places, books, research is so worthwhile. But one must keep a watchful eye and not get so wrapped up with the web, that it replaces the warmth of physical phone calls, lunches with friends, and family gatherings.
That's why I enjoyed my three days at Theotokos without WiFi. Just swimming, reading, and card games. A little over a year ago, I was WiFi-less in Germany; check out my post--Unplugged for the Weekend--A Reflection. No worries! Don't be weak, give it a try--even for just one day!
What words, that begin with the letter W, do you think I should include for teachers?
