I've finished twice. I have the gold trophies to prove it (see above), but I do not feel successful. Why, you ask? Well, because Sarah Arrow's 30 Day Blogging Challenge is supposed to be completed in 30 successive days! I completed 30 days both times, hence the awards, but not successively. So, here I am starting Round 3 for today's Celebration Saturday!

At first glance, you might think this is the 4th of July in the U.S. Families gathering for a parade, and possibly fireworks. But wait, that sign is white with red polka dots, the jersey colors for the King of the Mountain that I told you about on Monday in Le Tour de France 2015: Getting Ready in Utrecht, and Roy is a cyclist from Roggel in the Netherlands, who is on the Giant Alpecin team! Today, though, I spent the 4th cheering on Trek Factory Racing in the 1st Stage of the Tour.
Santorini. All you have to do is say the name of this beautiful island in Greece, and most people state that it's on their bucket list (or they've been there already and want to go back!) For today's Celebration Saturday, I give you two reasons to celebrate in Santorini (plus one surprise!)
"Let's go to the beach tomorrow." That's what I told my daughter in between her two 12-hr. night shifts as an E.R. nurse, Friday and Saturday. She wasn't scheduled to work Sunday or Monday, so I decided we'd also spend the night. Now, where to go? That was easy--Lido Key! It's only a 2.5-hr. ride from Orlando; I prefer the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean any day!
Creme brulee, one of my favorite desserts! A perfect way to celebrate feeling better. I had an awful cold for a week, was just feeling better, and was hit at full speed by the flu! Finally, on the mend! Now, to finish that challenge! What challenge, you ask? The 30 Day Blogging Challenge! A challenge that has made me a faster writer, a better blogger, and more knowledgeable about SEO, analytics, and my audience!
Twenty-one days ago, I wrote about how I was participating in a 30 Day Blogging Challenge. My task today--create an infographic, which you see above. I'm pleased with the graphic...
Western Christians celebrate Easter tomorrow, Sunday, April 5, but Eastern Christians celebrate next Sunday, April 12. Raised on Western traditions, I converted to Greek Orthodoxy when I married my husband 30 years ago. Every year, I find myself torn between the two Easters. My first Easter, April 2, 1961--my mother (very pregnant with me), with my father and his sister!
