Speaking of games though, back to the guessing game! Do you know the city in Germany yet? The next photo gives the name, but you have to look closely. It's written somewhere!
Which photo did you enjoy the most?

Germany. That's all I'm going to tell you for today's Where Oh Where Wednesday, other than that I've visited this city twice--once in April, and again this past weekend. So, if you've been following my blog posts here, or my Instagram account, you may know already without any other photos! But, I'm going to include lots of photos, because I enjoyed the old and the new, and the different views during my two brief afternoon trips. Take a guess at any time as you scroll down the photos. You'll find out the answer in the last photo--just look carefully! I apologize. I got a little carried away with photos of the weird creatures crawling up the building. When I first saw them from far away, I thought they looked like the monkeys from the game Barrel of Monkeys! (Remember, I lived in Orlando in the land of theme parks for 19 years! ) Though my husband and I had not planned to walk that far, I had to see the figures close up! Speaking of games though, back to the guessing game! Do you know the city in Germany yet? The next photo gives the name, but you have to look closely. It's written somewhere! Did you find it? If so... Yes, even this street art was in Dusseldorf! It was on the small street where we parked this past Saturday! Hope you enjoyed the photos, and I know, today's guessing game was very difficult if you haven't been to Dusseldorf! But, hopefully this makes you want to visit!

The first pic of your series really struck home with me in that where else would you see such beautiful flowers in window pots, etc. but in Europe, particularly German.

I love window pots, but haven't had much luck with my own! The color of the building along with the lush flowers really caught my eye in Dusseldorf!

Jennifer, I would definitely recommend you visit! A great combination of old and lots of new, and a wonderfully long walk along the river!

Thanks Vourneen! I was hoping that they would remain unaware that I was taking a photo!

Thanks for trying the game though! It was a really tough one this week! I highly recommend Germany! The long path along the water in Dusseldorf was perfect for the sunny afternoons!

*sigh* I miss Germany. I lived there for 3 years and was able to travel around the country for a bit, but I never made it to Dusseldorf. The architecture looks really cool!
