1. Take lots of photos and share them.
As you may recall, I started blogging in 2015 to celebrate my travels throughout Europe. Check out my post 9 Months of Fun with Travel with Mrs. T. to catch up on most of them arranged by country!
You may not know that I joined Facebook in 2010 to share photos from my 25th wedding anniversary trip to France. I love photography; it was my only elective course in college. Back in 1980, my professor always said, "Always have your camera." With today's Smartphones, you always do!
2. Use photos in your classroom.
Now, it helps that I live in Orlando, and the Walt Disney World and Universal Studios parks are within 15 minutes from my home. Yes, I'm very spoiled. Right now, I only have annual passes for Disney World though!
Students love when you use photos in your lessons. My school has limited technology, but I do have a presentation computer hooked up to a projector in my room. I usually let a student control the keyboard or the mouse when I project a PowerPoint, or Prezi presentation. When we read Eric Carle's book, Mister Seahorse, we looked up photos of the sea creatures and compared them to Mr. Carle's illustrations.
3. Complete the 30 Day Blogging Challenge.
So, get out there and celebrate travel, whether to a neighborhood park, or faraway country!
