One of the most common complaints that I hear is " I don't have time," but carving out even 10 minutes a day to enjoy a sunset or sunrise, play a game, or watch a funny video and laugh out loud, can add happiness to your life. Pick a bench, they're everywhere. (I've been collecting pictures of them all over Europe and the U.S.!) Sit down, close your eyes, and say an inner thank you for your life, your health, your family and friends. Then, open your eyes and look around, and find one thing to smile about--a cute pair of shoes, a child playing, a sunny day, intriguing cloud formations (what animals can you find in the clouds?), brightly-colored flowers...the list is endless, but right there for you to discover!
What makes you happy? Did you know that research has shown that happier people are more energized to help solve problems? What small or big problem would you like to tackle with your increased happiness?
