1995. We moved to Florida. Universal Studios Orlando had just one theme park. 1999. Islands of Adventure (IOA) opened. Jurassic Park was one of our favorite areas, and today for my Throwback Thursday, I just had to post this pic from IOA, since we went to see Jurassic World 3-D this evening at a theater in Utrecht in the Netherlands.
2015. In March, my son and I went on the Jurassic Park Water Adventure ride in the morning, about 2 hours after our arrival in the park. We got soaked! Luckily it was a sunny day, and we dried fairly quickly. Our visit to both parks to help celebrate his girlfriend's birthday was marvelous. For many, a trip to Orlando to visit the theme parks is a once in a lifetime dream trip. As a family we have been very lucky to have visited all the theme parks in Orlando more times than we can remember! Today, I'll let the pictures do the talking. Enjoy! |
If you've never visited the Universal Studios theme parks in Orlando, I highly recommend them. Of course, the Harry Potter themed areas are appealing to almost everyone, even if you've never read the books, or seen the movies! Definitely a fun dream vacation for kids of all ages! The attention to detail is amazing, and not just in those areas!
